Privacy notice

The Next Chapter is a digital publishing imprint operated by Happy Translator Inc. We use the information needed to complete and support digital purchases: buyer email, billing name and address or country as required for checkout and taxes, order/payment identifiers, digital entitlement and recovery status, and any support correspondence.

Payment-card details are processed by Stripe, not stored in our publishing database. Order and delivery information is processed by service providers for payment, transactional email, hosting, private file storage, and databases. We use it to deliver purchases, restore access, prevent misuse, handle refunds/disputes and meet accounting obligations.

Buying a guide does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We retain accounting records as required by law and other records only as long as necessary for the purposes above. We apply reasonable access controls, private asset storage and signed, expiring download links. To request access or correction or ask a privacy question, contact hello@usefulsignal.ca.
